One of our great traditions in Jamestown is the annual Financial Town Meeting. It is an exercise in pure democracy, with the voters having the opportunity to directly approve what they will pay in taxes and how the tax revenue received by the Town will be spent.

Jamestowners showed their resourceful nature by crafting a format for the 2020 FTM that took into account the precautions demanded by the Covid-19 pandemic, yet allowed the meeting to occur efficiently and with fairness.

Together, we can be proud of the record of good government in Jamestown. I appreciate the opportunity you have given me to participate in achieving that record. It has been an honor to serve as your Town Moderator. I ask for your support in the upcoming election.
