The Jamestown Ukraine Relief Project will host a conversation with Dr. Eugene Fischel at 7 PM on Monday evening, March 24th, at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall in Jamestown. Dr. Gene Fischel is one of the State Department’s foremost experts on Ukraine, and will be looking at the current state of the war and how it might evolve.

About Eugene Fischel

Gene Fishel is a Deputy Director in the State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research at the United States Department of State. Most recently, he served as the Bureau’s Senior Advisor for Emerging Threats. He has also worked at our U.S. embassies in Kyiv and Minsk, taught at George Washington University and Georgetown University, and is a Distinguished Fellow at George Mason University. He is the author of “The Moscow Factor: U.S. Policy Toward Sovereign Ukraine and the Kremlin,” published by the Harvard University Press.
