Town Financial Meeting

Town Financial Meeting at the Lawn Avenue School.
Just so you know:
- Just like the Jamestown’s budgets since 2013 (and earlier), this year’s budget is under the state’s mandated 4% cap.
- This year’s budget fully supports the school, as the School Committee’s works to address a shrinking school population.
- This year’s budget renews the Town’s support for Jamestown’s senior population.
- The only new initiatives in the budget are for the renovation and repair to town facilities and replacement of equipment. This effort was deferred for five years as the town dealt with Covid and inflation.
We will be voting on important Bonds for Jamestown’s future.
